Ok its a little late but here is the tech update chez YellowSpanner.

I have a Samsung A10 laptop for personal use, 1Ghz Duron, 256Mb RAM, 20 Gb HDD, DVD/CD writer running dual boot Win XP and Suse Linux. Work laptop is Dell Latitude with 1.3Ghz P3, 384Mb RAM, 30Gb HDD, DVD-Rom running XP. I also have an 1.2GHz Celeron no name laptop lying around as a test bed. My PDA is a Dell Axim X5 Performance that I won in a raffle and my cellphone is an Orange SPV.

My wife uses a Samsung X10 with 1.4Ghz Pentium M, 256Mb Ram, 20Gb HDD, DVD/CD writer running XP. Her PDA is a HP Ipaq1910 and her cellphone is a Samsung A800.

My daughter has an Athlon XP1800+ with 512Mb of RAM, 80Gb HDD, DVD, CD-RW running XP.

Everything is connected via 802.11b (Linksys hardware) to a BT Openworld ADSL line.

Future plans involve connecting an old Compaq pro workstation I have to the network as a Linux server and using a surplus laptop as a server to. Also planning to Wifi enable my Axim.
