Isn't it amazing just how much crap you collect over time.

Just spent the whole day emptying the kitchen so the new one can be fitted. Have filled 10+ crates with stuff we are keeping. But also paid 3 visits to the dump with stuff we had no intention of keeping.

Where did all that crap come from??????

Oh well. Just some box shuffling tomorrow and then it's a case of wait and see......

Well thats that.

Another week winds to a weary end.

Two weeks off now to supervise the refitting of my kitchen and bathroom. That should be good. More time to get back up to date with my studies and probably spend a bit more time in bed as the youngest will be back in Wales with the inlaws. He is just far too inquisitive to be around bare cables, gas and water.

Will hopefully keep the blog up to date whilst I'm away.

God I'm bored. Late shift. Hell.
And by the way I hate Lotus Notes. What a shitty excuse for an email system.
Tiles are bought ready for the new kitchen/bathroom. Garage is empty ready for new kitchen/bathroom.
Two weeks holiday whilst I babysit the fitters and look after my daughter. Wife and son back home to keep him out of harms way.

At least I won't be in the office. I'll be @ home studying and trying to catch up.

So thats that. Another assignment out the way for this years OU course. Finished today at 1030 with over 13 hours left before deadline.
On to the next thing now. I've just started my web design course and the Comp Sci program has been running since February. Is it really worth the trouble?
I'm sure it is as once I get a degree under my belt I hope that the degree and 10+ years experience in the IT industry will open some doors for me. Maybe consulting or working for one of the big IT services firms would be good. But teaching holds an appeal I can't quite identify. Bank Holiday tomorrow so at least I shouldn't have to go in to the office unless I'm paged. One week to the kitchen/bathroom update.....
