First rainy day since scooter.

Waterproof jacket isn't.

I am so wet. I either need to bring spare clothes in or buy new waterproofs.

One Armed Jake is doing fine though she has tendency to be very grumpy. Can't blame her really.

And I forgot to mention that yesterday was her 6th birthday.

Scooter is going great guns. For a 100cc machine that appears to be able to do 100 miles on less than £4 of petrol it certainly can shift. I've got 50 mph out of it on the local dual carriageway and then the ability to filter between traffic queues is a real added bonus.

Up to London on a business trip tomorrow. That will be nice.

It has not been a good few days.

Sunday was great - did my CBT and picked up my scooter. So far it has been fantastic. Anything that just about fills up on £2 is fine by me.

But Monday did not go so well.

My daughter fell in the garden at about 1845 last night and broke arm just above the elbow. She has spent the night in hospital and is now home having had an operation to set the arm. She'll be in plaster for up to 6 weeks and will need another op to remove the pins that are in.

Not a good night.....
